Advanced Transitional Living (ATL) Housing Program

We Have Space for You!

A Better You is committed to ending homelessness among people with mental health challenges in Baltimore City, Maryland and the metropolitan area at large. We have created partnerships to help individuals with low-to-no income gain access to extended temporary housing as the first step to permanent long term housing.

We Have Space

Best of ALL...

Individuals will have access to full onsite medication management, individual and group therapy and case management services.

SIGNING UP

On November 1, 2019,  A BETTER YOU opened its first home for low-to-no income residents in partnership with Uplifted Hands, a non-profit organization aimed at bettering the lives of people just like you. If you are committed to bettering your life through a solid system of care, look no further.  In order to gain a spot, you need to meet the following criteria:

  2. Have federal medicaid or meet the criteria for uninsured benefits as defined by regulating authorities (i.e. released from the psychiatric ward of a hospital within the last 90 days etc.).
  3. Have valid ID, insurance cards, etc.
  4. Complete an application independently and/or with assistance from a mental health professional and return it 877-409-9940.
  5. Be willing to abide by all program rules and regulations including, but not limited to being free from illegal drugs, alcohol and/or abuse of legal prescriptions.

NOTE: Submission of an application does not guarantee placement the ATL Housing Program. Also note, it is helpful if consumers have access to the following:

  1. food stamps and/or food subdues to aid their care for food
  2. finances of any kind to aid in placement at various sites for which the consumer may be qualified
