Position Title: 

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselors

General Description: 

Psychiatric Counselors provides services to adults, children and/or adolescents who are recovering from mental illness, trauma and/or substance use disorders by assisting them  with development of skills such as:

1. Coping skills
2. Medication Management and compliance skills
3. Assisted Daily Living Skills
4. Communication and Interpersonal skills  

PRP workers, under the direction of a rehabilitation specialist, will implement a treatment plan with consumers in an effort to assist consumers with reaching their goals. 

 Salary: 

$15.00 - $20.00/hour  

Education: 

High School Diploma or higher 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A love for helping people, two years of experience in mental health and human services or a willingness to be trained in the field, the ability to work independently and with a team, intermediate computer skills,  a clean driving record and/or solid transportation, solid verbal and communication skills and a great attitude. 

Duties:

*Conduct and complete initial assessments

*Assist consumers with the development of and Individual Recovery Plan (IRP)

*Meet with consumers individually and in small groups to work on goals as guided by the IRP  *Complete contact notes 

*Complete monthly notes

*Work with consumers' circle of support to assist in the coordination of care

*Work with the Rehabilitation Specialist to ensure continuum of service 

Where are Services Rendered?

Services are rendered in the community (i.e. at a library, a group home, a local cafe, etc.).

Position Title: 

Executive Assistant (EA) to Executive Director

General Description: 

The Executive Assistant provides support to the Executive Director in the management of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation program, partnerships and expansion of services in and around Baltimore City, Maryland. 

The Executive Assistant works  under the direction of the executive director in an effort to run the organization and to ensure compliance to regulators, stakeholders and accrediting agencies. 

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00/hour  

Education: AA Degree or Higher or two (2) years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Flexibility under stress, a great attitude, high attention to detail, great communication skills, the ability to work independently and with a team, intermediate computer skills,  a clean driving record and/or solid transportation.

Duties:

* Support all functions of ABY's PRP including, but not limited to:

* Supporting administrative functions in the corporate office in downtown Baltimore

*Supporting all functions of the housing program partnership with Uplifted Hands, a non profit organization. 

*Assist in the management and scheduling of staff

*Assist in the management of CARF accreditation 

*Work with rehabilitation specialist, PRP workers and/or consumers when necessary

*Other duties as assigned

Where are Services Rendered?Services are rendered in the corporate office, community facilities in Baltimore City, group homes and in the community including sites outside of Baltimore City, Maryland.
